Like a character...evolving.

I find it interesting, that the more I further my education the more I realize about myself as a person.

As I write my Novella for class, Bricks and Mortar, I find my story evolving, and yet, at the same time I realize that I myself am evolving along with it. Maturity may be a part of it, or maybe this is like some messed up version of that Will Farrel movie, Stranger than Fiction, except instead of someone else writing my life, I am.

Of course that makes me wonder if that movie was a novel first...it might be...need to find out at some point.

My character in Bricks and Mortar took a turn I wasn't expecting, and the very next week suddenly I was taking a different path in life. Granted while my character's turn may not be like mine, I find the symmetry of it all fascinating.

Bricks and Mortar is coming along nicely, and I really am proud of it, as I am of myself, and am looking forward to the day I get it published, either self, or professionally. As I am also looking forward to the day I become the person this new path is leading me, so that I can show that to the world also.
